As statistics become more commonplace at all levels within the GAA, we are hoping this template will provide some ideas for management, coaches and players in relation to assessing their performance. At inter county level, teams have the luxury of having a number of people to record various events throughout a game. However at club level the availability of a number of people to record this process is not very common. Therefore it is important to keep your analysis simple and effective. It is important to record the major events and be able to communicate these effectively to your players. If you try to collect too much information with limited resources, there is a high possibility that accuracy may diminish which can lead to a loss credibility with players.
The below template is flexible to be filled out in any individual way to help you record your vital statistics. Please also see a completed example to provide some ideas.
