Set plays/losing opponent
  • dual_player1 September 2011
Has anyone any ideas of how to work set plays, such as sideline kicks, free kicks out side scoring range, in order to retain possession and work the ball up the field?

I see that in a lot of teams I play in and coach that when a dead ball is slowed down, possibly due to an injury or something, that when the ball has to be played a lot the time it is turned over as players are well marked and find it tough to lose their marker and show for the ball.

So if anyone has any ideas or things that your team uses in these situation or drills for this that they could share it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
