Confidence comes from your mentality. When you complete a task like getting yourself through a work out or practice it makes you feel good about it. Your confidence boosts up. I remember when I used to train, my conditioning was what made me confident. Especially when I would see my teammates gasping for air the last 10 min of practice and I would feel like I could endure another 20 minutes of the physicality.
